The Good American founder, 38, gives Kim some constructive criticism in the latest teaser for season 2 of The Kardashians when they talk about the consequences of her remark to Variety that women should “get your f—-ing ass up to work.”
The SKIMS founder, 41, comments to her sister, “You can see all of the criticism on the Variety article. No one understands you, Khloé replies. Kim says, “I’m embarrassed, and I can see why people were offended. Following the uproar, Kim apologized in a Good Morning America interview.
In March, she clarified, “It wasn’t a sweeping comment toward women or to feel like I don’t value the labor or think that they don’t work hard. Kim also discusses how she is going through an independent phase after her divorce from Kanye West.
She says, “I genuinely feel like I’ve discovered my self-esteem.” The teaser also includes some behind-the-scenes footage of her getting ready to wear Marilyn Monroe’s famous “Happy Birthday Mr. President” outfit as she prepared to walk the red carpet at this year’s Met Gala, to which she responds, “Honey, I’m the Marilyn and the Jackie.”
Kendall Jenner, the younger sister, too, seemed to be relishing her freedom.
The 26-year-old founder of 818 Tequila exclaims, “I believe as If I’m becoming my own woman.” I aspire to have my own business. As Kendall advances in status, Kourtney becomes a wife and puts on her bridal gown before getting hitched to Travis Barker.
When Khloé isn’t giving Kim advice, she’s still coping with the fallout from her ex Tristan Thompson’s affair as she gets ready to give birth to a child.
Khloé says of the affair, “Going through what I came through was extremely challenging. Simply put, I feel like a fish in a fishbowl. She adds, “I’m ready,” and describes the newborn, who was born early last month, as “very exciting.
